Post-production
The post-production stage was undoubtedly the most challenging for me personally, however the access to various technologies I was provided with helped me develop a high quality product.
It would make sense to divide post-production into to stages: editing and reflection. Starting with the editing, I'd first mention the significance of a software I used to put the sequence together - Adobe Premier. Being media students, we were given an opportunity to edit our videos in an editing suit on iMacs, which was something I enjoyed to a great extent, as I was familiar with using Apple products (I have a MacBook Pro laptop). Adobe Premier itself seemed quite complicated at the start and even though, media teachers were always there to help, I still found myself watching Youtube videos (online), explaining how the software works. During the editing process, my team and I also explored websites (online) with free (not copyright) music, as we were searching for a soundtrack to our sequence. We ended up not using any, however it was an important part of the sequence creation, as we were thinking critically and solving problems along the way.

Moving on to the reflection part, I'd say that the emphasis here was definitely on the online platforms we used. For one of the first reflection tasks I had to create a video, describing the importance of mise-en-scene in film and in my sequence in particular. To collect the footage I used my phone (iPhone) and to edit it I used Video Editor Plus Movavi, which is a software I already had installed on my device (MacBook). Using my laptop (hardware) and the internet-based platform Canva I designed a poster for the sequence, which was supposed to reflect my understanding of targeting various audiences, selling the product and reaching consumers. Relying on the independent research I did previously, I was able to develop a poster I'm quite satisfied with. Moreover, I used Prezi (online presentations website) to reflect on the progress I've made since the beginning of the project from the technical point of view (i.e. what skills I gained). This platform provides a variety of tools and templates, which helped me create an interactive and interesting presentation. I used this platform twice, as I then compared my sequence to the psychological thrillers, that share conventions with my product through a presentation in Prezi again. Finally, I was introduced to "WIX", where I had to reflect on the way technologies were integrated in my project. This free platform allowed me to create a website, which practically summarises the whole journey of my sequence's development.
