Production
Becoming familiar with various technologies on the pre-production stage was crucial for enhancing the efficacy of the production process and the quality of the final product in general.
During the production stage, there was a clear emphasis on the integration of hardware rather than software or online platforms. In order to collect all the footage we used the Black Magic 4K mini Ursa Film Camera, which we learnt to use previously during the camera workshops. Apart from the transitions shots, the camera was attached to the Vinten two-stage tripod, which helped us keep the equipment static and therefore avoid shaky movement in the shot. The Sennheiser Shotgun microphone, attached to the camera, increased the quality of the audio, while the portable LED lights we used during the flashback shot contributed to creating a spooky and tense atmosphere.
I was previously familiar with all the hardware listed above (thanks to the workshops and independent research), however there were certain technologies I was introduced to during the shoot day itself. For instance, I didn't know what lenses are used for different types of shots. Throughout the day I learnt that Dzo Pictor 50-125 mm should be used for ECU and close up shots, while the Dzo Pictor 20-55mm should be used for long and mid shots. Furthermore, I clearly didn't pay enough attention to what I was told during the camera workshops, because on the shoot day I completely forgot about the exsistance of the Lexar Pro memory card (which basically stores all the footage we collect).

Talking about the secondary technologies, used during the shoot day, I think it is important to mention iPhone (hardware), which I personally used to collect backstage footage and post it on my social media. The significance of hardware and online platforms integration is clearly seen here: I used a gadget in order to attract audiences through Instagram and promote our sequence (which would be then released on Youtube). Finally, at the end of the shoot day (production process) I blogged the way the day went on "blogger" which is also an online platform.
